HOW TO DRESS AND WHAT TO DO CHILDREN

A particular attention is wide requested to equip your children before the lessons. If a child is badly dressed, not at ease he will not necessarily say and the result can be serious. Remember that the mountain environment is specific and the weather can change rapidly, conditions may be different.

  •  Check the weather and dress your child accordingly.
  •  Choose waterproof gloves and mittens for the most cautious and youngest.
  •  Goggles are required for flat light conditions and snowy days, sunglasses with UV index of 3 minimum.
  •  The jacket and trousers should be warm, windproof and waterproof.
  •  The helmet is compulsory for children, make sure it is the right size, we see very often children with helmets too large or conversely too tight!
  •  For very cold days neck fleece or a hood are strongly recommended.

Before starting on the tracks put the sun cream on your child across the face and lips. The SPF should be 50.

The socks are very important, make sure they are well lifted below the knee before putting ski boots of the child. Multiple layers of socks is not the best solution. Cotton should not be considered an acceptable material.

IMPORTANT : In the ski pass pocket of the jacket drag a memo with your phone number, place of residence in the resort and make sure your child knows how to use it wisely if he is lost.
